Elite Plaza Hotel is located in the heart of Gothenburg, in a quiet and charming part of the city centre. From the hotel, it’s just a short walk to the Central Station, the Gothenburg Opera, shopping districts and a wide range of restaurants. The hotel is housed in an elegant, palace-like building from 1889, where all original features have been carefully preserved. Beautiful stucco ceilings and mosaic floors blend harmoniously with modern art and design. Our 127 rooms are decorated in a style that combines international elegance with classic Scandinavian design.

Elite Plaza Hotel offers a restaurant and bar, as well as an English-style gastropub on the premises. At Restaurant Swea, the menu is based on seasonal Swedish ingredients. Here, guests can enjoy Swea’s classic dishes along with a selection of small plates chosen by the kitchen, which change with the seasons. The dining experience takes place in a grand, late 19th-century building featuring ornate stucco ceilings and mosaic flooring, perfectly complemented by modern art and design. For larger parties, our unique suites, wine cellar and spacious dining room are available, whether for lunch, mingling or dinner.

On the hotel’s ground floor you’ll find **The Bishops Arms** gastropub, offering a wide variety of beers and whiskies.

Guests can enjoy a peaceful workout in the hotel’s small gym, followed by a relaxing sauna session. Hotel guests also enjoy complimentary access to **Friskis & Svettis** gym on Västra Hamngatan, just a stone’s throw from the hotel.
