La Clusaz in the French Alps is one of a number of ski areas around the world where its sometimes possible to ski after midnight.
The resort, has announced the return of their Full Moon festival this winter, taking place on Saturday, 23rd January 2027.
Along with ski lifts running up to 1am, with a specially priced lift ticket required, La Clusaz puts on a full after-dark festival and full moon party.
Whilst the moonlit skiing continues into the small hours, there's a slopeside party underway at the mountain restaurants and bars, with live music and food specials.
La Clusaz, at 1,100m, with 125km of ski terrain in the Aravis mountains across five sectors and linked to Manigod, is just a one-hour drive from Geneva airport and 40 minutes from Annecy train station. It opens for the 26-27 season, which will run to 25th April next year, on 5th December 2026.
