Vallorcine at a glance

A group of small mountain hamlets. There's a small local ski area with skiing mostly quite easy and limited night-life. 15km from Chamonix by car bus but now reached by skiers with a gondola lift that takes you directly from the village up to the Balme area, linked to Chamonix on the other side. There's a long blue back down to the resort.
