Skiing

Chamrousse's ski area is situated between 1,450 and 2,250 meters in elevation. Notable pistes include the long red run, 'La Combe,' and the challenging black run, 'Les Crêtes,' serviced by lifts such as the 'Roche Béranger' and 'Champagne.'

Chamrousse offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Chamrousse is Grenoble, 36 minutes drive away.

Chambery, Annecy, Lyon St-Exupéry, Lyon Bron, Geneva, Saint-Étienne and Avignon airports are all within three hours drive.

Grenoble is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Chamrousse is easily accessible from major cities, with Grenoble Airport being the closest. The resort is about a 1.5-hour drive from the airport, with well-marked routes leading directly to the slopes.
