The ski area of Graukogel is in the Austrian Alps at an altitude of 3,540ft, with 9 miles of marked runs.

Graukogel is part of the Gastein ski area with access to 127 miles of downhill skiing, with 178 marked pistes, served by a total of 50 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Graukogel itself (9 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Gastein ski resorts of Bad Gastein, Bad Hofgastein, Dorfgastein and Sportgastein.

Skiing

Graukogel features a vertical drop of 1,100 meters, with elevations reaching up to 2,500 meters. The resort includes 18 kilometers of slopes, serviced by key lifts such as the Graukogelbahn and notable pistes like the challenging ‘Schwarze Piste’ and the scenic ‘Familienabfahrt’.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Graukogel is Salzburg, 74 minutes drive away.

Innsbruck Airport and Munich airports are all within three hours drive.

Graukogel is easily accessible via the nearest major airports in Salzburg and Innsbruck. From there, a scenic drive or train ride to Bad Gastein brings you to the heart of the resort.
