Gosau is part of the Dachstein West ski area with access to 186 miles of downhill skiing, with 97 marked pistes, served by a total of 81 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Gosau itself (35 miles of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Dachstein West ski resorts of Abtenau, Annaberg im Lammertal, Katrin - Bad Ischl, Krippenstein, Obertraun/Dachstein and Rußbach.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Gosau is Salzburg, 60 minutes drive away.
Linz, Klagenfurt, Munich, Graz, Ljubljana and Innsbruck Airport airports are all within three hours drive.
Salzburg is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
