This guest house is located in Katla Geopark, just 20 minutes’ drive from Thórsmörk hiking area. It offers mountain and countryside views, plus free Wi-Fi and parking.
Guesthouse Húsid’s simple rooms have their own wash basin and access to shared bathroom facilities.
The guest lounge has a TV, DVD player and sofas. A breakfast buffet is served daily, and packed lunches can also be ordered. Staff can help arrange horse riding or hiking trips.
Hvolsvöllur village is 10 minutes’ drive from Húsid Guesthouse. A petrol station, shops and restaurants are found there. The Westman Islands ferry departs 30 km away.
