5 of 6 Scottish Ski Area Are Open for 17-18 Season in November

As of today five of the six Scottish ski centres have opened at least some terrain in the past week.
Only Nevis Range, which traditionally closes for maintenance until Christmas week, has not yet decided to open any runs.
It has been an unusually consistently spell of cold weather in Scotland over the past few weeks with some heavy snow showers and good conditions for snowmaking.
Although cover is still thin in places and the terrain they've been able to open so far limited, the four other Highland ski centres are open for the season, two of them for the first time this morning, and the Lowther Hills Ski club in the south of the country was open last weekend.
Cairngorm has opened one top to bottom run served by the funicular.
At The Lecht Eagle 1, Grouse, Robin Sunkid and Magic Carpet are open with good cover of new snow whilst at Glenshee (pictured top) the Sunnyside North runs are open.
All of the centres warn of "early season conditions" with thin/very thin" cover in places.
Most are offering lower prices than usual to reflect the limited skiing/boarding.
