Title says it all - we have reports of heavy rain in the valleys this morning, in numerous locations, with temperatures forecast to fall rapidly over the next 48 hours for the Northern half of the Alps.Current forecast is for the Northern Alps to get snow throughout this next week with the Freezing Level staying below 1500 metres until the weekend. The Southern Alps may not be so lucky but it is precipitating heavily in Serre Che this morning.
