Skiing

Shanty Creek consists of three mountains: Summit, Schuss, and Lakeview, with over 50 skiable acres and an elevation of 1,250 feet. Notable pistes include the Summit's 'Giant's Ridge' and Schuss Mountain's 'Jungle Trail', accessible via the Summit Express and Schuss Express lifts.

There are a variety of pistes to suit all levels of skier ability, from Beginner to Expert.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Shanty Creek is Chattanooga, 70 minutes drive away.

Atlanta and Knoxville airports are all within three hours drive.

Shanty Creek is easily accessible via I-75 and M-88, with Traverse City Airport being the nearest major airport. Expect a scenic drive of about an hour from the airport to the resort.
