Skiing
Copper Mountain boasts an impressive elevation of 12,313 feet, with a vertical drop of 2,601 feet. The resort features several ski areas, including the Frontside, Backside, and Copper Bowl, with notable pistes like the black diamond runs of Union Peak and the easy greens of the East Village area. Key lifts include the American Eagle and the Super Bee, providing efficient access to various slopes.

How to get there
By Air
The nearest airport to Copper Mountain is Vail/Eagle, 60 minutes drive away.
Denver International, Steamboat Springs, Aspen, Yampa Valley, Grand Junction and Colorado Springs airports are all within three hours drive.
Vail/Eagle is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
Copper Mountain is easily accessible via Interstate 70, approximately 75 miles from Denver International Airport. Travelers can take the I-70 West for a straightforward route to the resort.

When is Copper Mountain open?

Usual opening is early November (Opens as early as possible in late Oct or early Nov), and usual closing is Late April.
