The resort features a vertical drop of 1,609 feet, with three main areas: the Summit, the Ridge, and the Backcountry. Notable pistes include the popular 'Silver King' and 'Ymir Glades', serviced by lifts like the 'Summit Chair' and 'Silver King Chair'.

Whitewater offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Whitewater is Castlegar, 32 minutes drive away.

Canadian Rockies airport is also within three hours drive.

Castlegar is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Whitewater Ski Resort is accessible via Highway 6 from Nelson, approximately a 30-minute drive. The nearest major airport is Castlegar Airport, about 45 minutes away.

When is Whitewater open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.
